Owen had his first Lego League meeting since the competition today. The boys got together and completed the second design book. They built a moving car with their motor in it. Then they experimented with changing the speed with gears. After that they drove the car on different surfaces and experimented with different types of tires. After putting all the Legos away, we ate lunch and went to the indoor playground to play.
Two hours and two tired children later, we headed to my Mom's to call all her friends about Girl Scout cookies. The sale started today. Bridget called everyone on my mom's list and sold about 50 boxes in two hours. She was very pleased. Every time she hung up the phone she just squealed and recounted all the boxes she sold.
Later, we went to my brother's to eat pizza and play with his kids. Whew. I'm gonna sleep good tonight.
