Wii are having a great time

Saturday morning Bridget had her soccer game. They lost again. The league her team is playing is two years older than her, so they are getting creamed every game. However, the morning was not a total loss. I was so happy to hear such nice thoughts come out of my kids' mouths. We gave the kids some quarters to play video games before her soccer game. Bridget loves the 'claw' game where you drop the claw and see if you can pick up a prize. She won three prizes and gave them away. She was glad to make other kids happy. Owen gave his quarters to another little girl who didn't have any and watched her play games. He said it wasn't really very fun, but he was glad to make her happy. They were so happy. It's really encouraging to see our kids live the values we are hoping to teach them.

I had some friends over Saturday night to celebrate my birthday with me. One of my friends brought her Wii over. We had good food and a night at the bowling alley in my living room. She was kind enough to leave her Wii for a few days. So, we played all day yesterday... and all day today... and I am too sore to play anymore. It was a blast though.
