I took the kids to my mom's today because it is the last week before my nephew goes back to school. I had therapy and a doctor's appointment for my wrist. So the kids were much more interested in going to my mom's to hang out with their cousin.
My nephew is very much into Pokemon and Nintendo DS just like Owen. So it really surprised me when Owen chose to bring a soccer ball to my mom's instead of Pokemon cards and his DS. He could have brought them all, but he didn't.
I gotta say, he has never really shown any interest in playing soccer outside of the team practice. Even then he never seemed terribly interested. He had a good time even though my nephew really doesn't play soccer.
