Just one umbrella

A few years ago the kids got umbrellas. Within one week, Owen's was destroyed and we had to throw it out. So we put Bridget's umbrella up on the top shelf of the coat closet until she was a little older. Well, now she's older, so we have let her use it lately. Today the kids wanted to play outside in the rain in their bathing suits. Bridget took her umbrella. Owen was very upset that he did not have something to keep the rain off (even though he was in his bathing suit). So we talked about what types of things he could use and what would happen to those things in the rain. Eventually, he decided that he would like to use the pool, turned up side down over our back yard table... and share it!
